Mitsubishi WD-62525

I purchased my first HDTV in August of 2004. It is a rear projection DLP model and is located in our family room in the basement. So far, I have been very happy with this TV. HD on it looks terrific!
The TV is now nearly three years old, and still going strong. I had the bulb replaced under warranty in June, and it seemed to bring the brightness level back to its original factory condition.
Sony KDL-32XBR1
Our second HDTV purchase was a Sony flat-panel LCD TV, which we mounted on an articulated bracket in the bedroom. This is a nice bedroom TV, but there are definitely differences between these LCD's and the DLP we have downstairs.
Sony KDL-46XBR2

Our third (but probably not final) HDTV purchase was another Sony flat-panel LCD TV, but this time a newer 1080p model. This is a very nice looking TV, even when it isn't turned on. This TV is our upstairs living room TV. This was a purchase that was prompted when Abby had to have her ankle operated on again, and the 32" Sony just wasn't big enough for the Living Room. What a horrible dillemma - we needed to buy a bigger one! This TV looks amazing when connected to the Playstation 3 that I picked up in January!
Like many other HDTV owners, I find myself watching HD
shows that I had never watched before. The CSI shows are a
good example of this. I normally only watch sports when a
team that I care about is playing. Now I will watch games
(for a while at least) when it is in HD, even if one of my
teams isn't playing. NASCAR is another good example of
sports programming that I would not watch if they weren't
in HD...
Some of my favorite HD shows are:
Lost (ABC)
24 (FOX)
House (FOX)
The Office (NBC)
My Name is Earl (NBC)
Grey's Anatomy (ABC)
