Toyota Camry Hybrid
Since we no longer have the jetskis (and thus no longer need a tow vehicle), I traded in my 18-19 MPG 2002 Chevy TrailBlazer for a brand new, 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid on July 11th, 2006. I love this car!
The EPA rates it at 40 city/38 Hwy, but I am finding that the highway is where the Hybrid Synergy Drive really shines. The aquisition of this car has a lengthy back-story (nearly a two month wait) - check out my blog for more info.
My current "lifetime" average MPG:
As often happens with a new vehicle, I look forward to driving this car. My quest for the best possible MPG per tank is now "on". I have actually changed my driving habits to try to gain the best level of fuel economy from the hybrid system. I am slowly learning the way to best drive this car to that effect.
In fact, I actually drive without the radio on and just enjoy the quiet ride (while constantly monitoring my MPG).
I will add more info as I learn more!
