About Me
I am 35 years old, and I am married to my sweetie, Abby. I am a graduate of Grand Rapids Christian High School (class of 1990), and went on to earn a B.S.E. from Calvin College in 1994. I currently work for a large office furniture company as a Project Engineer.
I am a major gadget-lover, and I am always trying to keep up with the latest technology. Whether it is HDTV, my PS3, my Powerbook G4, my iPhone, I am always looking for the latest tech toys.
I consider myself an early adopter when it comes to technology. I bought a Tivo Series 3 HD DVR the day they went on sale. I also bought his and hers Apple iPhones on the day they were released (but I didn't wait in line)!
If you are wondering where the name
spiffSPACE.com comes from, it is related to the best comic
strip of all time, Calvin and Hobbes. My favorite
Calvin alter-ego is Spaceman Spiff, so I have been using
the name "spiff" or "spacemanspiff" for a many of my online
identities. Spacemanspiff.com was taken, so I improvised to
call this site spiffSPACE, implying "spiff's space". It
also reminded me of "Spaceman", so I went for it!
I am still thinking about new, clever domain names that I might register, but I haven't come up with any new ones yet.
